Youth Sports

PenMet is proud to offer recreational sports programs where boys and girls will gain the technical skills & sport knowledge to use at all levels of play. Below you will find Flag Football, Basketball, Soccer, and Baseball with registration being open based on the season. Volunteer coaches are required for programs to operate. Volunteer coaches will receive ONE FREE FEE WAIVER as a benefit to coaching a team. For questions or to register contact Brian Miller at or (253) 649-0347. Skyhawks Sports Camps

With focus on teaching life skills through sports Skyhawks Sports Academy offers a divers range of programming. From Tennis to flag football, soccer and more, you are sure to find a program that fits your family’s needs.

Youth Running Groups

Promoting physical fitness through trail running in a supportive, empowering environment. We focus on gratitude and teamwork while teaching efficient running techniques and building strength and speed. Group mentors will cheer you on as you reach your goals.

Offering a fun, non-contact football experience for boys and girls grades 1st – 12th. We strive to provide unmatched standards of safety, education, and support. Our program imparts great lessons, providing skills that serve kids well throughout their lives.

PenMet Parks Basketball


Our recreational leagues for boys and girls grades 1st – High School inspire future generations to grow through basketball. We are dedicated to having our youth make championship choices on and off the court, and build confidence through the game of basketball. PenMet Parks is currently evaluating if we can host a fall Basketball league. Please check back in June for an update.

PenMet Parks Soccer


Providing a world-class youth soccer program based on balanced teams, positive coaching, good sportsmanship. Our recreational leagues for boys and girls grades 1st – 12th create a family-friendly environment where your child can grow and develop not only their soccer skills but their leadership and social skills for life. Starts September 2021.

PenMet Parks Baseball


We require that all teams adhere to the “spirit of participation”. Our recreational leagues for boys and girls Kindergarten- 5th grade focus on safety and positive self-image. It is very important to our program that children can grow, learn, and come away from the game feeling positive and have the desire to play again.
