Our youth flag football season is changing back to Spring. The league is open to all youth in our community from elementary grade two through high school. Practices and games will be on Saturdays, ensuring a fun season that leaves time for other activities.
Through youth sports, PenMet Parks is dedicated to helping future generations learn the values of community, leadership, and character development in a fun and safe environment.

Registration opens: In-District resident registration begins March 13 at 9 AM. Out-of-District resident registration begins March 20 at 9 AM. You can register online, or by calling our offices at (253) 858-3400. Be sure your ActiveNet account is up to date. If you have any questions prior to registration day, please feel free to email us or call our offices.
Registration fee: In-District residents: $150. Out-of-District residents: $180.
Financial assistance is available. Eligibility requirements and an online application form are available on our website. You can also visit or call our office to complete a form. Contact us with questions at [email protected].
Practices and games begin: On Saturday, May 11. There will be an hour-long practice prior to the game.
Season ends: Last games will be played on Saturday, June 15.
Teams are Grouped by Grade Levels
- Elementary School:
- Grades 2-3
- Grades 4-5
- Middle School:
- Grades 6-8
- High School
- Grades 9-12
Be a Volunteer Coach
Want to help players have fun and improve their skills? Here’s what it takes to be a coach:
- Two-three hours per week
- We supply all equipment.
- PenMet will hold a coaches training and provide additional coaching resources.
- Head coaches receive a fee waiver for their child’s registration.
