Due to winter weather, PenMet Parks is operating on a modified schedule on Monday, February 3:
- Parks are closed to vehicular traffic until 9 AM
- District programs and community rentals that are scheduled to begin before 1 PM are cancelled. If you or your family members are participating in a recreation activity, we will send a notification to the emergency contact you have identified.
The safety of park patrons is our priority. Please:
- Be cautious of any new hazards and risks. Park terrain may look different after a severe weather event has occurred.
- Be careful of your surroundings as rocks may be slippery, and trees may have fallen.
- Do not go near downed power lines; avoid areas of flooding, mudslides, and washed-out roads.
- In an emergency, call 9-1-1.
