The District reminds visitors to recreate responsibly

Effective June 29, 2020, athletic fields are open to groups of 50 or less, on five separate parts of the field, separated by a buffer zone and practice can follow physical distancing. Playgrounds are open, please play on equipment in groups of 5 or less. Keep children from different households 6 feet apart. Restrooms are open.

Parks, trails, beach access, racquet courts, and golf courses remain open for outdoor recreation, but please remember that they are not places for group activities. If it’s crowded, choose another trail, beach or park to visit. Maintain a distance of 6 feet from others. Read more about physical distancing at www.tpchd.org/coronavirus.

We encourage teams to reserve field space. Field reservations can be made for team practices if participants are limited to groups of five in separate parts of the field, separated by a buffer zone and practice can follow physical distancing of a minimum of six feet between players with no contact.

To reserve a field, please contact Aiden Krug at (253) 313-5090 or [email protected]

Our staff has been working hard to ensure that our facilities and services re-open in the safe, clean, and high-quality outdoor environment you have come to expect from PenMet Parks. We will re-open with limited group activity to help keep visitors safe and adhere to guidelines developed by our local health authorities and PenMet Parks Board of Directors. Respectfully, we ask our park visitors to help in the efforts to stay healthy and safe. Upon your arrival, please review our park signage with helpful guidance and safe physical-distancing reminders.
