The sun is out and so are visitors to DeMolay Sandspit Park.
Starting Friday, May 22, 2026 a Peninsula Metropolitan Park District attendant will return to the park to help promote a positive and safe experience for visitors and neighbors.
The attendant will be on site in the afternoons and evenings on weekends and holidays through the summer. Part of their role is to educate visitors to the park about park rules and etiquette, as well as serve as a resource for guests and monitor and manage parking within the park boundaries.
Located at 53 Bella Bella Drive on Fox Island, DeMolay Sandspit Park is a special place. We want to make sure everyone respects it while visiting. To help ensure everyone has a great experience, park visitors are asked to:
- Park only in the upper parking lot. Do not park on the shoulder or in front of the fence gate – this needs to remain open for emergency access.
- Do not park in “no parking” zones along Bella Bell Drive.
- Be respectful of the neighborhood – do not park in front of driveways or mailboxes.
- Pack in and pack out – take all garbage and belongings with you.
- Leave natural items where you found them.
- Keep animals on a leash.
- Stay off neighboring private property.
And please remember: Alcohol, open flames and fireworks are always prohibited.
