We are proud to offer recreational sports programs where participants gain skills both on and off the field, build friendships, and make memories that will last a lifetime. PenMet Parks offers a full range of youth sports, including flag football, basketball, soccer, and baseball, with registration based on the season. Our Adult Sports program currently offers fitness classes and a softball league.

2024 Soccer registration begins on June 5 for in-District residents, and June 12 for out-of-District residents. Providing a world-class youth soccer program based on balanced teams, positive coaching, and good sportsmanship. Our recreational leagues, for boys and girls in grades PreK-8th, create a family-friendly environment where your child can grow and develop not only their soccer skills but their leadership and social skills for life. PenMet Parks Flag Football

Flag Football

2024 Flag Football registration begins on June 5 for in-District residents, and June 12 for out-of-District residents. Offering a fun, non-contact football experience for boys and girls grades Kindergarten to 12th. We strive to provide unmatched standards of safety, education, and support. We require that all teams adhere to the spirit of participation. Our recreational leagues for boys and girls from Pre-K to middle school focus on safety and positive self-image. It is very important to our program that children can grow, learn, and come away from the game feeling positive and have the desire to play again. Summer Youth Sports Camps

From Pickleball to Zorb Soccer, this summer PenMet Parks offers a host of sports camps to engage and inspire your children. Camps begin in June and extend through the end of August.

Volunteer Coaches

Our sports programs rely on parent and community volunteer coaches to help teach, learn, and grow. We greatly appreciate your willingness to volunteer your time. You will have a tremendous positive impact on the players that you coach! As an added bonus, volunteer coaches receive one fee waiver as a benefit of coaching a team. 

Getting Started

To serve as a volunteer coach, the first step is to complete a registration form for the appropriate season. At our coaches’ meeting, we will provide coaching instruction prior to each season and distribute a coach’s manual and information on your league. All that we ask is that you bring a positive, encouraging attitude toward every child and we will help with the rest. Adult Summer Softball

PenMet Summer Softball season registration opens in late Spring. The season runs primarily on Sunday afternoons and some Wednesday evenings during summer. Team captains should register and submit their team roster by the 1st game.

LynnFit Fitness Classes

Each class combines elements of fun Dance moves, Kickboxing, and Calisthenics, to a variety of music styles. Strength training through Pilates, and Yoga through Standing and floor mat versions will vary through the week. We provide mats hand weights, small Pilates balls, and stretchy bands for this class. You can bring your own if you prefer. Three classes are offered each week.

Pickleball Clinics

Serve, rally, and score! Explore the dynamic world of pickleball, a sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping pong. Focus on skill development, teamwork, and the joy of playing this fast-paced sport. These clinics are GREAT for families, and registration is open to ages 10 and older. Learn to play this sport, and have a lot of FUN together.
