Rosedale Hall is beloved by local residents. Over its century-long life, the hall has played a pivotal role in the community, serving as a school, a church, an exercise studio and hosted countless community groups and events. The original structure was built in 1918 then disassembled and moved to its current location in 1925 when it became Rosedale Hall. The renovation was complete in July of 2024, and a ribbon cutting ceremony was held for the public on September 17.

A District Priority
Improvements to Rosedale Hall were identified as a District strategic priority. Similar to the Arletta Schoolhouse renovation, this project focused on accessibility improvements, including exterior entry access, restroom accessibility and total renovation of the interior and interior finishes.
Along with repair of exterior walls and roof trusses, a catering kitchen was added as well as essential storage for classes, camps, and other community programs. The large community area, including the raised platform formerly considered a ballroom and stage, was updated while maintaining the same footprint. The renovation and restoration of this well-loved gathering space maintained the building’s original character while providing needed structural improvements.
The project was sustainably completed on July 15, 2024. The building is in full use and supporting many events and programs.
The renovation has breathed new life into Rosedale Hall thanks to new paint, tiling, flooring, cabinets and much, much more. It will continue to serve as a community gathering place and tie together the past, present, and future of the Rosedale community.
