The PenMet Parks Recreation Center is open Monday, Feb. 16, 2026 with modified hours. The facility will be open 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday. Regular hours resume Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2026.
The PenMet Parks District Headquarters is closed Monday, Feb. 16 in observance of President’s Day. Regular operations resume Tuesday, Feb. 17.
The week of Feb. 16-20, 2026 the Rec Center will offer different activities than normally scheduled due to the Peninsula School District mid-winter break. Visitors are encouraged to view the Rec Center calendar to check drop in court and field times.
We anticipate an increase in visitors over the course of the week – many of them families and youth – and encourage all guests to plan accordingly. If you have questions about what is scheduled you can also call 253-858-3400 and ask to speak with the Rec Center front desk.
