Description: This 2.0-acre site is located across from Rosedale Market (formerly Templeton’s, formerly Eide’s Store) The site, Rosedale Playfield has 1 combination fenced grass youth soccer field, 1 grass 200-foot softball diamond, 2 outdoor tennis courts, and 1 half-basketball courts. Rosedale Hal is located adjacent to the tennis courts. This facility is currently operated and available for reservations through PenMet Parks. The 2,400 square foot building provides 2,000 square feet of meeting space with a 400 square foot kitchen and can be rented for community and organizational events. History: Rosedale Park officially became a public park in 1964 after a long history as Rosedale Public School #26. In April of 2007, Rosedale Park ownership was transferred to PenMet Parks from Pierce County.
