We’re ready for another great Parks Appreciation Day! Please join us on Saturday, May 2 from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. for a day of freshening up a local park!
This year’s locations are:
- DeMolay Sandspit Park
- Sehmel Homestead Park
- Tubby’s Trail Dog Park
- Grandview Forest Park
- Soundview Forest Park
- Wilkinson Farm Park
Volunteers are needed in parks throughout Gig Harbor and Fox Island to help spruce things up. This includes trimming limbs, grooming grounds, planting flowers and building trails. Every helping hand makes a difference, and it’s a wonderful way to keep our parks beautiful while strengthening our community and caring for the earth.
