Get ready for another summer of fun, friends and free activities! PenMet Parks’ FREE Summer Play: Mobile Rec program is returning to select Peninsula School District sites and PenMet Parks Recreation Center this summer starting July 6, 2026.
Open to all ages, Mobile Rec brings organized games, recreational activities and a FREE lunch directly to neighborhood locations throughout the Gig Harbor Peninsula. Whether you’re looking to stay active, meet new friends, or simply enjoy a fun afternoon outdoors, there’s something for everyone.
No registration is required, just drop in and join the fun!
The program runs Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the school sites listed by day below from July 6 to Aug. 21.
- Monday: Harbor Heights Elementary School, 4002 36th St. NW
- Tuesday: Purdy Elementary School, 13815 62nd Ave. NW
- Wednesday: Artondale Elementary School, 6219 40th St. NW
- Thursday: Discovery Elementary School, 4905 Rosedale St. NW
- Friday: PenMet Parks Recreation Center, 2524 14th Ave. NW
