The Great Sasquatch Hunt kicks off April 1 and goes through April 25. Are you ready to join the adventure? If so, stop by the District Headquarters starting Wednesday, March 26 to grab your passport book so you can track all the Bigfoots you find with location stamps. See below for more details on how to play, prizes, and reminders for this special event. Happy hunting!
How to Play
Find Sasquatch
Search the park and look for all five hidden Bigfoots. Each one has a unique stamp attached. Bigfoot will move to the next park every Monday.
- Week 1: Sehmel Homestead Park
- Week 2: Sunrise Beach Park
- Week 3: Harbor Family Park
- Week 4: McCormick Forest Park
Stamp your passport
Use the stamp at each Sasquatch location to mark your passport.
If a stamp is missing or damaged, take a photo of the Sasquatch instead—we’ll count that as your stamp!
Need a passport? Look for the kiosk at each park location to pick one up before you start hunting.
Claim your prize
Once you’ve collected all five stamps (or photos), bring your completed passport to the PenMet Parks District Headquarters to claim your prize!

Respect nature
Please be mindful of all plants, wildlife, and park property during your hunt. Leave no trace.
Leave Sasquatch where you found him
Do not move or remove the Sasquatch figures or stamps so other participants can enjoy the hunt too.

Children must be supervised at all times.

Help protect the park environment and keep yourself safe.
