Peninsula Gardens: Master Plan Development

PenMet Parks is in the process of developing a draft master plan to guide the final design for the development of the former Peninsula Gardens property into a community park. The Peninsula Gardens Master Plan development is among the highest priorities in PenMet Parks Capital Improvement Plan and Budget.

Project Summary

Utilizing input from the public and PenMet’s 2023 Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Plan (PROs), programming needs will be identified and alternatives developed. Ultimately a preferred alternative will be selected that will be presented to PenMet’s Board of Commissioners for approval.  Once approval has been obtained, the Master Plan will be adopted and used as the conceptual basis for the design of Peninsula Gardens Park.
