PenMet Parks Board of Commissioners has approved plans to develop a new state-of-the-art community recreation center located at 2416 14th Avenue NW at the site of the old Performance Golf Center. The design provides a campus-like environment with the two facilities complementing each other across a multi-use grass area that has the potential to hold large community events as well as provide sports field use. On the back of the campus parallel to State Highway 16, the Cushman Trail will be extended to the south end of the site. As part of the project, the miniature golf area will be renovated for future use.
