Reserve up to 12 months in advance; book at least 30 days before your event. Renter must be 21+ and present during the rental.
When is payment due?
50% deposit at booking, total balance due 30 days before event.
Full payment required if booking within 30 days.
Damage deposit = additional 50% of the rental cost, refunded if no issues after reservation.
Payments: cash, check (no personal checks within 14 days), debit, or credit.
What is the cancellation policy?
30+ days before: full refund
14–29 days before: 50% refund
Less than 14 days: no refund
Weather/emergencies: option to reschedule or full refund, case by case basis
What are the rental hours?
Hourly rentals with 30 min setup + 30 min cleanup included
Events must end by 9 PM; cleanup done by 10 PM
Overtime billed at 2x hourly rate
What are my responsibilities as renter?
Supervise guests and follow all laws/park rules
Setup and cleanup tables, chairs, decorations, kitchen areas
Remove all decorations, signs, and balloons
Staff handles basic trash, sweeping, and restrooms
Can I decorate?
Use painter’s tape, putty, or string only
No nails, staples, confetti, glitter, rice, birdseed, smoke/bubble machines
Candles allowed only if enclosed in glass
Can I serve alcohol?
Yes, Beer, wine, and champagne with permits (Banquet or Special Occasion License)
Must hire a licensed Class 12 Mixologist (21+) to serve hard liquor
Service ends 30 min before event ends
Other rules to know
Smoking is not allowed on PenMet Parks property
DJs/bands allowed; must stay under 60 dBA noise ordinance
Tents/canopies up to 10×10 (must be weighted, not staked)
Only service animals allowed indoors unless approved
Selling food, drinks, or merchandise requires a special permit + business license
