PenMet Parks, the City of Gig Harbor, and Key Peninsula Metro Parks are hosting Parks Appreciation Day on April 19, 2008 in cooperation with Metro Parks Tacoma, the City of Gig harbor, Key Peninsula Parks and several other park agencies around Pierce County.

The event brings thousands of citizen volunteers out to our parks for a variety of projects ranging from brush trimming, to general sprucing and cleanup, to light construction.  Please join us on April 19th from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon to show your parks how much you appreciate them.
