District Announces
PEG Grant
The PenMet Parks
Board of Park Commissioners created a $65,000 matching grant program to help
enhance Gig Harbor Peninsula area parks. The program is designed to encourage
and assist individuals, businesses, and community groups interested in expanding
park and recreation opportunities, and improving the quality of life on the
Peninsula.

Rosedale/Hales Pass Tennis Court
Improvement Project Spring of 2008,
PenMet Parks began the
Rosedale and
Hales Pass Tennis Court Improvement Projects.
Improvements to include: All new perimeter fencing and gating.
Complete court overlay, crack repair and re-coat.
New nets and net standards.
New benches and trash receptacles.
Work to be completed by August 2008.
