Off-leash areas in Tacoma include Tacoma's Rogers Park and Lakewood's Fort Steilacoom Park.  Rogers Park serves Tacoma's eastside area near the old Roger's High School.  In October 2004, it became the first official off-leash dog park in Tacoma at East 34th Street and East L Street.
