Description: This 18.7 acre park was acquired in October, 2007 for $1.3M. The acquisition was funded involving public sources including a state RCO grant and PenMet Parks Capital Improvement Program funds, as well as private fundraising efforts managed by the PenMet Foundation. Conceptual plans for the park have been developed and are in preliminary review by Pierce County. No development funding has been identified at this time. Public access is available via primitive trails recently constructed by EnviroCorps.
